In SAS® Model Manager, retraining a model fails with the following error in the corresponding SAS log when the host name for SAS® Metadata Server contains a hyphen(-):

ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF condition where a numeric operand is required. The condition was:
       &_metaServer eq
ERROR: The macro MM_CALL_REST_SERVICE will stop executing
